The third quarter of 2024 witnessed varied performance across the top News and Magazines apps in Romania. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends in weekly downloads and active users for these leading applications.

Digi Sport-Știri&meciuri LIVE from Digi.Mobil showed a noticeable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with about 13.5K at the beginning of July, then declining to around 2.5K by late July. However, a significant upturn was observed in late September with downloads reaching approximately 9.3K. The app maintained a stable number of weekly active users, beginning at around 76.7K and peaking at about 91.9K towards the end of September.

Tomorrow's Affairs had a modest start in terms of downloads, with numbers as low as single digits early in the quarter. However, a substantial increase occurred by late September, with downloads peaking at approximately 7.9K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at just over 1.6K and rising sharply to nearly 7.9K by the end of the quarter.
